I’m Theresa Guzman Salas, and I have lived in Selma for most of my life. Over the years, I have watched our town closely, and I have noticed that we see very little actual change. Instead, we see the same candidates running for office over and over again. I realized that if we want to see a different outcome, we need to step up and try something new. I am running because I want to contribute to some positive change here in our community. I believe our town has so much potential, and I want to do my part to help us move forward.
When we think about the future of our community, we have to talk about how we manage our resources. That is why I am focusing on true fiscal responsibility. If elected, I will make sure we give much greater attention to our everyday financial decisions. It is not just about balancing the budget for today; it is about securing our long-term financial growth and health for years to come. Our families deserve a local government that plans ahead and spends conservatively. I am ready to bring this focus to this office, ensuring our community remains a strong, stable, and thriving place for everyone.
